Local image processing
Images used in Palette From Image and Color Blindness Simulator are decoded and processed in your browser. AdaptiveView does not upload the original image, file name, extracted palette, simulated image, or canvas data to a server.
The browser may temporarily hold the file and generated results in memory or a short-lived object URL. AdaptiveView releases these resources when you replace the image, leave the page, or close the tab.
Data we receive
The current MVP does not include an analytics or third-party error-monitoring service. We therefore do not intentionally collect tool input, image details, color values, custom preview text, or behavioral analytics.
Like most websites, the hosting provider may process limited technical request data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, requested path, user agent, and security logs. That processing is subject to the hosting provider’s operational and retention practices.
If analytics or error monitoring is added later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before that change goes live.
Cookies and local storage
AdaptiveView does not currently set advertising, analytics, or account cookies. The tools do not save images, palettes, simulations, or preview text to local storage.
Your browser may retain ordinary cache entries according to its own settings. You can clear those through your browser controls.
Retention
Because tool inputs are not sent to AdaptiveView, we do not retain them. Any limited hosting or security logs are retained only as long as the hosting provider requires for delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and legal obligations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, hosting, or applicable requirements change. The effective and last-updated date at the top of this page will change when a revision is published.
